Intuitive operation
Programme navigation is incredibly simple thanks to the high-quality, sophisticated user guidance concept embodied in the new generation of IMPRESSA F50 machines. The plain text display ensures simple communication with the user, who can navigate accurately through the programme with the help of the Rotary Switch. Your favourite coffees are available atthe touch of four new preparation buttons.
Eco-intelligence
Saving energy doesn't have to mean sacrificing enjoyment. Quite the contrary.In Energy Save Mode (E.S.M.©) the IMPRESSA F50 uses up to 40% less energy. When the machine is switched off, the patented JURA innovation,the 'Zero-Energy Switch', also stops active coffee preparations once they are complete, ejects the coffee grounds and moves the brewing unit back into the starting position. The switch then disconnects the machine entirely from the electrical mains. With the IMPRESSA F50 you can be ecological without being any less indulgent.
Play with the senses
An espresso without the perfect crema - simply unthinkable. The new amber cup illumination and the height-adjustable coffee spout make each coffee a perfectly presented enjoyment. I bought the Jura-Capresso Impressa F50 Classic Automatic Coffee Center nearly a year ago. It replaced our then 6 year old Capresso super-automatic which still worked fine, but started show the signs of its age. Also, Jura gave us 50% of our old machine's price as a trade-in toward a new F50 Classic. That closed the deal without further debate.After a nearly a year of heavy home use (without a single failure!) the F50 proved to be a wonderful machine, brewing near perfect coffee every time. As coffee roasters and wholesalers we recommended this machine to our family and friends for home-use without reservation.

I bought this machine in August 2011 and has suffered repeated power failures. it just randomly decides to not turn on. It has been returned 7 times since purchase. everytime it does the same thing.It works fine for 2 - 3 weeks. then refuses to power up. so I call Jura and get an rma. ship it back. I pay shipping both ways. I get the machine back and it works fine for 2-3 weeks.Please dont ever buy this machineugh.1500.00 paper weight

The coffee maker I thought I was buying had stainless and black front. The one I got was all black. I think that's called bait and switch!
